The definition of implementation evaluation control basically are marketing plans, turned into marketing actions(57), states the digital textbook. Pretty in Pinks professional marketing team will plan our marketing strategy and then put it to action, getting the product noticed, and convincing ladies this is the drink for them. Final Project- Marketing Mix- Distribution

Pretty in Pink is distributed in San Diego, California by" Exclusive Distribution, which means Giving a limited number of dealers the exclusive right to distribute the company’s products in their territories." Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing pg. 324 Our brand is distributed by Haralin and Lion distribution companies. It is distilled to its fullest and sent to be packaged fancy in Chicago IL. It's sent out by truck or plain to an assortment of vendors in the larger cities all over the U.S and then sold and promoted in our desired areas. Once we've made a name for ourselves we will then start working on new ideas and flavors to provide to our consumers. We want to stay loyal in satisfying our customers and will provide them with a greater variety of our product to give a new experience. Eventually, once we become more established we will reach out and go international. I feel as though this product will be very popular and with an experienced team supporting us I'm certain Pretty in Pink will go far.

Final Project-Marketing Mix-Promotion

Pretty in Pinks use of marketing ideas and tools for promotion will be highly successful. Being involved in social media will help us out greatly. We will advertise on Billboards in the biggest cities. We will also advertise in the hottest magazines and also your local magazines, like 944. We will continue pushing our product to come out on top. "Just as good communication is important in building and maintaining any kind of relationship, it is a crucial element in a company’s efforts to build profitable customer relationships." Pretty in Pink will be envolved in conventions across the United State and also have a young promotions team sent out to bars, local hot spots, events and nightclubs to give out samples of our alcohol to keep us in the public eye across the U.S. drawing and introducing people to our product everyday. "Personal selling is the interpersonal arm of marketing communications, in which the sales force interacts with customers and prospects to build relationships and make sales. Sales promotion consists of short term incentives to encourage purchase or sale of a product or service." Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition pg. 411

Final Project-Marketing Mix-Price

"For most purchases, consumers don’t have all the skill or information they need to figure out whether they are paying a good price. They don’t have the time, ability, or inclination to research different brands or stores, compare prices, and get the best deals. Instead, they may rely on certain cues that signal whether a price is high or low"Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition pg 292. We are a premium vodka costing around $35 dollars and our "cue" to draw consumers in is the appearance and the fact that its a women drink. The appearance will get them to buy it and once they taste the smoothness and fulfilling taste, they will be hooked. They wont mind spending the extra 10$ on a alcohol that is satisfying to every taste bud. We will sell at all grocery stores, alcohol vendors, corrals, and 100 percent at all nightclubs and lounges. We will strictly focus on selling to the big cities in the U.S. like Miami, Las Vegas, New York, and LA so everyone will know of Pretty in Pink. Once distributed we will appreciate and value our customers, keeping them satisfied and interested. "The concept of customer value is critical to good pricing and to successful marketing in general. Slow down for a minute and be certain that you appreciate what value really means."Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition pg.285

Final Project-Target Market Strategy

When producing a new product, companies need strategies on attacking their their competition. "Companies need to consider many factors when choosing a market-targeting strategy. Which strategy is best depends on company resources. "Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing To be successful this is a good way to start a business. Pretty in Pink has hired highly trained marketing professionals to successfully sell and market our product in an effective way. "When a firm introduces a new product, it may be practical to launch only one version, and undifferentiated marketing or concentrated marketing may make the most sense."Armstrong & Kotler (2011). Marketing: An Introduction, 10th Ed. Prentice Hall Publishing pg. 32. This is exactly why Pretty in Pink is focusing on, our wine and fresh strawberry infused vodka. We want it perfected and once it has a good name for itself we will then look into other flavors. Pretty in Pink is very feminine and sophisticated so women ages 21-40 will buy this vodka. Pretty in Pink is meant for fun fruity drink and martinis, even straight up. So our marketing plan is going to be geared for classy trendy ladies, who enjoy there cocktails while having a girly get togethers.

Final Project-Objectives

When starting out a new company it's necessary to set goals, budgets, know their competition, etc. It's also very important to have a strategic short term and long term plan so you don't fall into a unexpected rut that you're unable to pull yourself out of. "Developing the promotion budget by (1) defining specific objectives, (2) determining the tasks that must be performed to achieve these objectives, and (3) estimating the costs of performing these tasks. "(Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. Pearson Learning Solutions pg 389. SWOT Analysis

SWOT Analysis is a beneficial marketing technique for knowing the companies strengths and weaknesses, for identifying opportunities open to you, and noticing the threats you face as a business. Marketing planning involves deciding on marketing strategies that will help the company attain its overall strategic objectives. A detailed marketing plan is needed for each business, product, or brand." (Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition.) Pretty in Pinks strengths will be the fact that women will buy it. It has such an appealing look that even if it doesn't taste amazing to a consumer, which it will, they will still be happy they bought it just for the bottle. Its sweet pleasurable taste will satisfy anyone who enjoys a fruity cocktail. The vodka infused with strawberries and wine is a different combination that no one that I know of has used before. Weaknesses and threats we may have are someone having the same or similar product. Even if we did have the same product as someone else, we willl try our hardest to win consumers over. As the book says "One firm can have essentially the same strategy as another, yet win in the marketplace through better execution."(Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. Pearson Learning Solutions p. (Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. Pearson Learning Solutions p. 57) To draw concumers to my product I will see to it that I have the best execution. "Planning good strategies is only a start toward successful marketing. A brilliant marketing strategy counts for little if the company fails to implement it properly."(Marketing: An Introduction for Education Management Corporation, 10th Edition. Pearson Learning Solutions p. 57) I will have a strong team to plan the most brilliant strategies, produce a marketing plan, and implement Pretty in Pink properly so that we come out on top. If my team works together and takes full advantage of opportunities handed to us we will 100 percent be successful.

EOC Week 8- What makes my vodka so special

Whats going to make Pretty in Pink so special is that its a fun, sophisticated, yummy drink that is appealing to women. It's marketed towards girls that like fruity, classy, quality drinks. The perfume designed bottle is going to make this vodka more like an accessory for parties. It will jump of the shelves and the bottle alone will sell itself. The design is inspired from a Victoria Secret perfume bottle and what women don't like Victoria Secret? Ladies will buy this for bachlorette parties, wedding showers, they will drink in on a night out dancing and partying or a night in watching chick flicks, painting they're fingernails. It is distilled to its fullest making it smooth to drink and less of a hangover. It's strawberry and wine infused flavors will be heavenly to the pallet, and it's color will make them more girly and beautiful drinking it. Mixed with juices and other mixers it will enhance you're drinking pleasure. It is a sweet flirty drink and is defiantly not fit for a man. That being said that's what makes Pretty in Pink unique and different than most alcohol on the market.

EOC Week 9- 3 Great Mission Statements

Statement from the Marketing book. "Mission statements should be meaningful and specific yet motivating."

Out of the class the mission statement I enjoyed the most are...

By: Luis Silva
"In-Season" Vodka celebrates life on every level. You are fascinated by the freshness that comes with this Strawberry flavored spirit, from the smoothness and subtleness as it hits your palette.

By: Steven Jeria
"Out mission at Andes Vodka is to provide out consumers with the finest, smoothest tasting vodka so the can experience what real quality tastes like.

By: Alyson Lefkowitz
"Ergo is the movement: organic, all-natural vodka that helps create a more sustainable global environment. Ergo is the memories one creates when the party doesn't stop. Ergo is what you make of it."

All of these statements ensure the consumer that what they are drinking is worth it. People like to feel good about what they consume and want to be ensured on the quality, taste, and enjoyable experience that these products have to offer them. These statements are short and sweet, but strong and convincing. That's why I like these mission statements a lot.

Week 10 BOC- Les Paul

Lester William Polsfuss was born June 9, 1915 – died August 12, 2009, in Waukesha, Wisconsin, where he first became interested in music and started playing the harmonica at 8 years old. He then progressed to the banjo and then proceeded to playing the guitar. After he mastered the guitar it was all uphill from there. He began playing gigs whereever and eventually he became an amazing American jazz and country guitarist, songwriter and inventor. He was also known as Les Paul. He helped develope the solid-body electric guitar which made it possible for the sound of rock and roll. He is credited for a lot of recording innovations but wasn't the first to use the technique. He experimented with techniques such as delay effects, phasing effects and multitrack recording. His inspiring talents started tying into his playing style, including licks, trills, chording sequences, fretting techniques and timing. This set him apart from other guitarists and also inspired them to be up to date with the present day. He recorded with his wife Mary Ford in the 1950s, and together they sold millions of records. Paul was one out of 5 artists with a permanent exhibit in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is named by the music museum as an 'architect' and a 'key inductee' along with Sam Phillips and Alan Freed.

Week 9 EOC- Creative Content

For my creative content I will be designing the packaging of Pretty in Pink Vodka in a bottle inspired by a fragrance made by Victoria Secret. The bottle will be elegant, very girl, and clear so that the pink vodka will show through. It will then packaged in a sleek black perfume looking box, like a frangrance would be in. The appearance of Pretty in Pink will be simple but extremely appealing. Pretty in Pink will stand out to women who like girly drinks and like to look good while drinking. With photoshop I will make a design that will allure people to this attractive vodka. It will enhance the taste, look, and feel of your drinking pleasure.

EOC 8- Mission Statement

Pretty in Pink will be known for engaging the taste buds and enhancing fruit flavors in mixed drinks. It will be exquisitly designed by our champion wine tasters from Sweden to prduce a rich complex taste of a unique blend of wild strawberries and wine that bring drinks to life. Pretty in Pink will also enhance the look, with it's vibrant color, and feel of your drinking pleasure. Ladies will feel beautiful and content with Pretty in Pink in there hand. Women will start to chase there vodka rather than their men with this hot new cocktail!

EOC-Week 6- Me x 3

People tend to stay loyal to products through out life for different reasons. Mainly because they've used the brand forever and know what works for them. Products that I've been loyal to are basically my hair products, make-up, and body care. Since Mac make-up came about, I have been a very dedicated customer. There face make-up has always been my favorite. It makes a statement, does it's purpose, and has a variety of different colors to choose from. As for hair care, I always use Matrix. It keeps my hair healthy and shiny no matter how much I damage it by coloring and styling. It also smells really good, which is a plus and it's always worked the best for me, so I just stick to the same brand. For body care, I shop at The Body Shop. I like that some of there sales go to charities, so I feel like I'm spending my money in a better place. They don't test on animals, it's all organic, and it works very well. I'm sure a lot of guys are loyal to electronics and those types of things but as for me I tend to be more girly and know nothing about electronics or cars. Therefor, I stick to what I know about and am interested in, which is basically skin care.

EOC Week 5- Sony Sleuths- Marketing

As we all know, Sony has been hacked. The attack on Sony invovled the theft of personal information like names, addresses, credit card information, etc. In order to stop this, they shut down their Playstation Network. Sony must be concerned with losing loyal customers, because people have been unable to play their online games for over a week now. "Sony attempted Wednesday to piece together who stole personal information for more than 100 million accounts on its online game network, new details were disclosed about it's investigation into one of the biggest data breaches in history." (poconorecord.com) Restoring this network, to keep customers happy, will have to happen soon, which they are already working on. "The company has implemented a variety of new security measures to provide greater protection of personal information. SNEI and it's third party experts have conducted extensive tests to verify the security strength of the Playstation Network and Qriocity services. With these measures in place, SCE and SNEI plan to start a phased rollout by region of the services shortly." (realotakugamer.com) I know it may seem as though people will hate Sony now and they will lose customers, but they really just hate the hackers. There are blogs and conversations going around the internet about sony and how it's not their fault. For example: "why are people directing all their hate about the PSN hack towards Sony and not the people who hacked PSN and took their details. Sony didn't choose to get hacked so why are they being blamed for it." (escapistmagazine.com) When all is said and done and Sony is back on there feet, they will be fine. Sony will do whatever it takes to keep their customers. They will find a way to make them feel safe again. They are professionals.

Week 4 EOC- Theres an app for that

1.) I would create an app for people who enjoy fashion as much as I do. You would simply take a picture of any expensive designer garment that you love, but can't afford, then post it to a link where it will find similar items. It will offer items that look the same but are in your price range. It will also tell you where you can go purchase it. This will save money, you'll look like a million bucks, and never arrive fashionably late spending all your time at the mall searching for that perfect outfit.
2.) I would create an app for an alarm system linked to my phone so that if someone tryed to break into my house or it was on fire my phone would alarm as well. I feel that in most cases you may be there for an emergency quicker than the cops could and it might make some people feel a little more at ease leaving there home for an extended period of time if they knew theyde get alarmed as soon as there window opened.
3) I would create an app where my phone would tell me cuss word sign language in different countries that means something nice here. For example: In Australia the peace sign means F.you but in America it means peace. Well I'm a server and when foreigners don't tip I'de really like to flip them off but I'de get fired. If I do something like a peace sign to an Australian I could act like I didn't know.
